Casa Conti 1840 is located in Achilleion Gastouri, in one of the most well-known locations in Corfu. Casa Conti is a piece of history itself. Once served as a hotel, lodging statesmen and merchants even before Achilleion Palace was constructed. The famous Austrian painter and sculptor Franz Matsch, who painted the Triumph of Achilleas inside the Achilleion Palace, he also painted the Veranda of Casa Conti during his visit in 1899. The painting has been preserved and the owners have made placemats for their guests.
