“The village of Gastouri, built at an altitude of 120 meters, on the slopes of Mount Agioi Deka, is located about 12 kilometers from the city of Corfu, in the eastern part of the island. It is famous for the Achilleion Palace which is 500meters from the centre of the village. The older part of the village is worth a stroll to enjoy the narrow alleys between the houses and the amazing views. The Springs of Sissy are not far as well. The lively Benitses is only 4km away, where you can find well know fish restaurants such as Paxinos and Bellos and many other cafes and bars. There is another traditional village close by, Kinopiastes, where you can find also the famous Trypas restaurant , various shops and a gas station. The beach of Agios Gordios is 15 min away.
